St. Seraphin of Montegranario (1540-1604)

Born in 1540 in Montegranario (Marcas). As a young man, he joined as a non-clergyman brother with the Capuchins. Stood out by his simplicity and his close union with Christ, as well as his humble service to the poor and his charity for sinners. He died in Áscoli in 1604. Was canonized by Clement XIII in 1167.
