St. Felix of Cantalice (1515-1587)

Born in 1515. At the age of thirty he let go of the plow handle to join the Capuchins. He was seen walking around Rome with his beggar’s saddlebag for forty years. He had deep friendships with St. Phillip Neri and St Charles Borromeo. He shined from his candor and evangelical simplicity. Adorned with heavenly charismas he died in Rome in 1587. He was canonized by Clement XI in 1712.
