III Ordinary Chapter Capuchinos Mexico and Texas

The month of January of this year has been the space that has allowed us to celebrate the third ordinary chapter of the Order of the Capuchin Minor Brothers in Mexico and Texas, in which, in a climate of prayer and fraternity, we have come together in El Salto, Jalisco to deal with some important matters for our way of being and to be in our presence in the custody. A significant event of this meeting has been the election of the brothers who will animate the life of the custody during the following triennium.

Brother Constantino Alonso was elected as Custodio, accompanied by a team of four councilors, the brothers Cristian Barragán, Aldo Muñoz, Feliciano Torres and Juan Miguel Zubiza.

We give thanks to God for this time that he grants us to look at our way of life and project our Capuchin Franciscan life into this circumscription into the future. May God through the intercession of Saint Mary of Guadalupe grant us to continue “Building the house on rock” and be a true sign of the vocation to which we have been called.
