Under the motto “He who remains in me and I in him that one bears much fruit”, Brother Jesús Arguelles Canul has received in the hands of Bishop Pedro Pablo Elizondo Cárdenas, Bishop of the Diocese of Cancún-Chetumal the priestly ordination. Accompanied by family and friends, the fraternity of Isla Mujeres has been the venue for this celebration in which in an atmosphere of fraternity, closeness, affection, and folklore we have been able to live the Eucharist and then share food to the rhythm of the jarana, typical music of these places.
During the following days Brother Jesús was able to celebrate the Eucharist in various communities, to name a few: in his native town of Panabá, Quintana Roo he celebrated his first eucharist; in the Capuchin Monastery of Mérida he shared with the second Franciscan order the grace of his vocation; in towns near Panabá he shared with these people in a simple way the richness of the faith, and in the group of Santos Mártires to which he belonged during his adolescence he recalled his first beginnings in the faith.
Let us continue to pray for the life of our brother Jesus, so that by serving the Church as a Capuchin Friar Minor he may continue to build the Kingdom of God.
