On may 31, we celebrate the presbyteral ordination of our brothers Carlos Pech, Juan Pérez, and Roberto García. The sacred rite was conferred by the bishop Pedro Pablo Elizondo, at the Sanctuary and Cuasi-Parish of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
This sacred liturgy, already abundant in symbols and sacred gestures, was further enriched by the extraordinary presence and fervent participation of hundreds of the faithful, hailing from various regions of Mexico and the United States. Together, they bore witness to the overflowing joy and spiritual depth of this blessed event. Truly, it was a day filled with grace and divine favor.
Let us lift our prayers to the Lord on behalf of these newly ordained brothers, that their ministry may faithfully reflect the vows of their religious profession. May they live as true brothers—obedient to the Gospel, embracing poverty and chastity, and walking humbly among the people entrusted to their pastoral care.
